Trai Cartwright’s popular workshop about how to make scenes work comes to Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers Online! Developing every scene to its full potential is the key to a transformative story, but how do you write scenes that show off your plot, world, and characters to their best advantage?
This workshop will:
- Break down the five narrative elements of a scene
- Explore how to balance those elements in your manuscript
- Study what makes for strong scene structure, including power shifts and tone development
- Enhance your natural strengths while helping you to eliminate any weaknesses
