Extra Pitch Opportunities

Your first pitch is complimentary and included with your registration if you requested one while initially registering. If you decline signing up for a pitch during your registration process, but then decide you want one when you arrive at conference, it will be treated as an add-on and you will be charged. All first pitches are held during our regular conference day on Saturday between the hours of 8:00am and no later than 4:30pm.

  • If you purchase a second pitch, it will be scheduled based on agent availability during regular Saturday pitch hours (no exceptions).
  • You will not be able to purchase a second pitch before 7:30 am on Saturday. The Pitch Master will not be available, or able to make changes to the day's schedule prior to then.
  • It is recommended you periodically check in at the Pitch Master desk, located outside of Aurora IV, throughout Saturday as some individuals change their minds once conference is underway and may cancel their regularly scheduled pitch appointments.
  • To purchase an extra pitch session, we can accept payment via Venmo, check-made out to Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers, or a credit card using our Square account.
Cost: $25 for a 10 minute session

Caitlin Blasdell has been a literary agent with Liza Dawson Associates since 2002 with a focus on commercial fiction. Before becoming an agent, she was a senior editor at HarperCollins Publishers. A graduate of Williams College, she lives in Westchester with her husband, four sons, and ever-expanding perennial garden. Caitlin specializes in quality commercial fiction including science fiction & fantasy, historical fiction, mysteries, thrillers, romance, and women’s fiction. She also handles a few select middle grade and YA authors.

She is not the right agent for poetry, nonfiction, or picture books.

Nadia Lynch is a Junior Literary Agent at Talcott Notch Literary, where she combines her lifelong love of books with precision and attention to detail to help guide authors through their publishing journeys.

With a bachelor’s degree in political science and a professional background as a paralegal, she brings experience in contracts and problem-solving to her work as a literary agent, blending structure with the creative energy of the literary world. Since joining Talcott Notch in 2021, Nadia has cherished the opportunity to build a career surrounded by books and storytelling. She finds joy in balancing structure with creativity in a way that feels both natural and rewarding.

Nadia is looking for historical fiction, upmarket fiction, romance, and women’s fiction. She is especially drawn to narratives that center resilient, complex female protagonists and explore authentic, layered relationships. She gravitates toward books that push boundaries and broaden perspective, and is always impressed by authors who breathe fresh life into classic tropes. In historical fiction, she seeks stories that spotlight underrepresented voices and lesser-known moments, particularly from the 20th century. In women’s fiction and romcoms, she looks for stories with emotional depth and grit woven into humor and heart.

Viengsamai Fetters is an associate editor at Erewhon Books, where they edit fantasy, science fiction, horror, and genre-bending speculative fiction. Viengsamai has worked with authors such as Kalyn Josephson, Foz Meadows, Lee Mandelo, Tlotlo Tsamaase, and Mizuki Tsujimura, and was named a finalist for Publishers Weekly Star Watch in 2025. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, where they worked as a bookseller, Viengsamai is currently located outside Chicago.

Viengsamai is currently seeking novel-length speculative fiction with heart: thought-provoking science fiction, fantasy, horror, and lightly speculative book club fiction/women's fiction. They are particularly interested in work from underrepresented perspectives.
