Nominations are open through March 15th.
Eligibility requirements:
- The nominee must have published a fiction novel (approx. 50,000 or more words) or multiple novellas (totaling at least 50,000 words) in 2024.
- The nominee must be a current member of RMFW in good standing without any lapse in membership between the year of eligibility and the nomination time; further, a writer must have been a member of RMFW during the entire preceding year (2024).
- Previous winners of the award are eligible for the award with the exception of an author who has already won three (3) times. A three-time winner shall automatically become a member of RMFW’s Writers’ Hall of Fame and will be ineligible to win the award again.
- Co-authored novels are eligible. If both writers are RMFW members then both are separately eligible for the award.
- A writer is ineligible if the novel under consideration is a reprint.
