Writer of the Year Speeches

A live recording of two speeches given Saturday, Sept. 7 at the annul three-day Colorado Gold conference.

The first speech is by Writer of the Year Margaret Mizushima and the second is by Independent Writer of the Year Stephanie Reisner.

The speeches were given in the giant ballroom at the Renaissance Hotel in Denver with about 400 or so writers and friends listening.

Margaret Mizushima is introduced by last year’s Writer of the Year, Gwen Florio. And Stephanie Reisner is introduced by last year’s Independent Writer of the Year, Corinne O’Flynn.

Intro music by Moby Gratis

I was unable to attend conference so really appreciate the opportunity to hear the speeches via the podcast! You ladies inspire me! And it’s always a joy to hear Mark host the podcasts.

Thanks for posting this. A couple of classy writers. I heard them in person but this recording was a welcome reminder and a great resource to listen again. Nice to meet you briefly at the conference (we exchanged cards). Thanks for all you do for RMFW.
