Wright Brothers Day (Had to share this, cuz I’m a historical, (educational/mystery/thriller/root for the underdog), fiction fan.
There I was on Amazon seeking fairy lights, both warm white and cold white, and I couldn’t help myself. Honest. Okay, so I justified more book purchases because I’ve been putting in a few extra hours at work this month. That and, paperbacks, easily bend, fit my hands better, and calling a book my own equals my marking-up ability. Using pencil OR pen. I only highlight the important parts such as, names, dates, locations, outstanding setting and character descriptions, fun words I don’t often read, and plot twists.
Which leads me to my latest confession: Last year, I ordered a book for a friend of mine, and before I knew it, I’d lost all control. Marked up quite a few sections. I sent a new one to her for St. Patrick’s Day.

This month I’m named, (the future) President of the Dumont Cemetery Preservation Board. Thus far, I’m the only member on the board, but still… On Saturday morning, December 19th, I’m honored joining other local history “knowledgeables” for, National Wreaths Across America Day.
