2. Stimulate interest in and appreciation for the art of writing in the community at large
3. Act as a dissemination point for information to members and the public concerning commercial fiction writing
4. Bring together authors, editors, agents, writing-related professionals, and readers for the benefit of all
Our Offerings
RMFW hosts the Colorado Gold Writers Conference each September and sponsors the annual Colorado Gold Writers Contest for unpublished authors. We also sponsor annual education events, host a writers’ retreat, offer critique groups, publish an e-newsletter, host free monthly events on the craft and business of writing that are open to the public, and periodically publish an anthology of short fiction showcasing the talents of the Rocky Mountain writing community. We have an active social media community that reaches thousands of authors, writers, and readers annually.
