The Mistake

Born in the 45th century, Idarra is an evolutionary glitch, a mistake. She’s inherited the serial killer gene, believed to have been eradicated centuries earlier. Sentenced to live in New York City in the year 2020, Idarra keeps to the shadows to avoid the wrath of her watchers who will use any excuse to execute her. But when Idarra experiences blackouts and wakes up smeared in blood, she questions if she is a mistake—or an engineered weapon.
