Registration is open for the 2019 Colorado Gold Conference. If you haven’t yet registered, get to it—you’ll be so glad you did!
If you have registered, welcome! This year’s conference offers a lively variety of new workshops, classes, and services designed to enlighten, encourage, and inspire you! Read on so you’ll feel right at home from the very start of the conference, whether this is your first conference or the next of many.
No conference bags this year
RMFW is going green this year, so there will be no bags. If this is your first RMFW conference, plan to bring a bag that can hold your conference materials. If this is a repeat conference for you, bring your own RMFW bag from previous years. If you have a collection of RMFW bags from previous conferences, consider bringing your extras to recycle and share. You can deposit them in the cardboard box marked “BAGS” at the registration desk.
Location of the registration table
The registration table will be found on the ballroom level, accessible by elevator or escalator. It opens Friday morning at 10 a.m. You’ll receive a printed conference brochure, your conference ID badge on a lanyard, and tickets for whichever meals you registered for.
New info desk
At the registration desk, you’ll find a dedicated spot for the new information desk, where you can learn about workshop locations, Friday and Saturday dinners and tables—whatever you’re wondering about, just ask.
Two exciting new spaces!
These spaces are located next to each other in front of the bookstore in the Aspen Reception Area on the atrium level (button “A” on the elevator).
Writers’ work space
It’s new and well equipped, dedicated for use by those who wish to take an hour or two to catch up on other work without returning to their rooms. Power strips and work space (counters and small tables) will be available for your use. Bring your own laptop or tablet. You’ll find the work space in front of the bookstore in the Aspen Reception Area on the atrium level.
Writers’ social space
It’s new too, and it will be available Saturday and Sunday next to the work space and bookstore in the Aspen Room on the atrium level. It’s comfy, with couches and tables and chairs for groups. Attendees can bring hotel-purchased beverages into this area.
