Margaret Mizushima – Writer of the Year Finalist

One of the main characters in her Timber Creek K-9 Mystery series is a dog named Robo and Margaret talks about how she makes sure Robo is a true individual who has an effect on the story.
Margaret Mizushima is the award-winning author of the internationally published and critically acclaimed Timber Creek K-9 Mysteries, including Burning Ridge, a Colorado Book Award finalist and named a Best Book of 2018 by Kings River Life.
Active within the writing community, Margaret serves on the board for the Rocky Mountain chapter of Mystery Writers of America and is a member of Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers, Pikes Peak Writers, and Northern Colorado Writers.
Margaret lives in Colorado on a small ranch with her veterinarian husband where they raised two daughters and a multitude of animals.
